Participation in the Homo Faber Fellowship!

April 2, 2024 Guest User

We are thrilled to announce that Madder Cutch & Co will be exhibiting a co-created textile collection at London Craft Week, as part of the Homo Faber Fellowship programme. Nicola and our intern Emily will co-create a collection inspired by Art Deco, celebrating the use of natural dyes, which will go on show in May at Cromwell Place.

We hope to see lots of you there!

The Homo Faber Fellowship is an educational programme created by the Michelangelo Foundation, in partnership with Jaeger-LeCoultre. The fellowship supports the further development of newly trained artisans, helping them to build successful futures in the craft professions.

Emily, who has joined us for the fellowship, shares our passion for natural dyeing and screen printing. She has been assisting with the running and organisation of Madder Cutch and Co, helping with studio tasks such as printing, marketing and running of workshops. We are excited to have her on board and part of the team!

As part of the 4 month fellowship programme, we will co-create a textile collection, that will represent a collaboration of our ideas and a sharing of knowledge and techniques with natural dyeing and printing.

This piece will be exhibited at London Craft Week in May 2024, where all 20 co-created objects from the fellowship programme will be shown. We are both very excited for the opportunity to work together and are looking forward to exhibiting our collection in May!

We hope to see you at London Craft Week! Tickets and information can be found here!
